Race for the Cure

On May 10th, some of my co-workers and I ran the 5K "Race for the Cure" in Salt Lake City. It was the first actual race I had ran since the Amalga (small town I grew up in) fun run when I was younger. Since that time, I have had a fear of races, becuase I never did very well. Thanks to my friends who ran with me and helped me get over my fear of races. It was a blast!

Keep on running Kristol.....it may become an addiction. But then there are far worse addictions. Mine are: running
sugar
"dark" soda pop
and shopping!!!!!
This blog stuff is lots of fun....I'm so glad I made myself become computer friendly.

Dax riding his bike

I haven't posted forever, but we are so proud of Dax. He wanted a bike for his 3rd birthday a couple of weeks ago, but we decided against it thinking maybe next year... Then Dax and I went to a garage sale and found this awesome bike. He was riding it by the end of the day. And completely starting by himself by the end of the second day we practiced. He is so determined to learn certain things. We are so proud of him.  Just had to show the cute video.

Zions National Park

We recently took a quick trip to Zions National Parks. We were on a search for new shocks for Sam's 4-wheeler. We founds some down by Zions, so we decided to make a trip out of it. Here are a few pics from inside the park while we were hiking and biking.

Happy Holidays!

Since our elf dance has expired, here are some real pictures from our christmas season. Picking the perfect tree. We went with some of Sam's side of the family Thanksgiving weekend and cut down our tree up by Twin Falls, ID. It was hours of hiking around, but we felt it was worth it when we found this tree.
