Danaka Kenzie Ogden has arrived!!

Danaka Kenzie Ogden born August 2 at 9:47 AM. 7 lbs, 1 oz. 20.5 inches long.

The Story (you can skip this if you'd like ;)
I was feeling like I might go when I got off work at 12:30AM. So I came home from work, showered, and got ready. Then I went to bed by 2:30AM. At 4:30 I woke up knowing it was going to be today. I laid in bed waiting for them to get worse to wake everyone up. Finally at 6AM I woke Sam up and told him. Then I called my mom and told her I was going to the hospital.

We got ready, got Dax up. Sam decided he needed to run to work for 45 minutes. He got home at 7:15, and we left at 7:30. We checked in at about 8:15, and they hooked me up to monitors. My contraction were coming pretty strong, but not totally ready. So Sam went to meet my parents down at the cafeteria and take Dax to them. Finally at 9:15 they came check me. By then I was having contraction pretty bad. She checked me and I was at a 6+, or 7. The nurse left me to get dressed, and find anesthesia to give me an epidural. I had to get dressed and get in a wheelchair, and I could barelyFrom then on, I started having really bad contractions. I called Sam and said to hurry back. He met me on the way to the delivery room. I was already pushing. They had me get on the bed. I could barely stand. The anesthesiologist started explaining the risks of the epidural. I said I need to push. They decided to check me again. They said I was ready to go. They hurried and set everything up as they were breaking my water, pushed for 5 more minutes, and she was here. No epidural. :(

Dax riding his bike

I haven't posted forever, but we are so proud of Dax. He wanted a bike for his 3rd birthday a couple of weeks ago, but we decided against it thinking maybe next year... Then Dax and I went to a garage sale and found this awesome bike. He was riding it by the end of the day. And completely starting by himself by the end of the second day we practiced. He is so determined to learn certain things. We are so proud of him.  Just had to show the cute video.
