Bear Lake Camping Trip

Sam at our first campsite overlooking Bear Lake Our second campsite. Mariah, Ben, and Sam cooking pancakes. After 4-wheeling one morning, we came back to find a baby moose in our campsite. It came back that night and hung out the whole evening just to the side of our campsite by a creek. It was still there when we went to bed. Talk about tame animals. Sam and Ben at the beach. No they don' t have shirts on. We ate Old Ephriams Pizza down in Garden City one evening. We were able to finish this 28" pizza, but it took us 3 days. Sam getting a little air, and a little dust. Mariah and Ben Sam and Kristol The last night we got rained out and had to go to the cabin. But not before Mariah and I started the fire and cooked dutch oven pizza during a downpour. The boys had had enough rain, but were nice enough to grate the cheese.

Bear Lake Family Reunion

Dad, Sam, and I set off for Swan peak one morning. Sam had been waiting all year to take a good long ride to the top. As you see the trail started geting a little questionable. Dad and I got off and started walking to see how bad it was, because it looked as though we may not be able to turn around, and it was really steep. Sam came flying up behind us saying he'll take a look on his 4-wheeler. I missed the picture of when he and his 4-wheeler went head over heels. In the third picture he and dad are pointing to where he had just rolled it. It took all 3 of us to roll it back without it continuing to roll down the mountain. We turned around there, obviously not making it to swan peak. I'm sure we will be off to find another route next year. Twin Falls, ID

We were at Sam's parent's house this weekend and were able to get pictures of these cute baby owls nesting in their haystack. We got up at 6AM to pick wild, thorny blackberries. We picked again later that evening when it wasn't as hot. Sam's dad, Sam, and I were able to pick 12 lbs. of wonderful blackberries that day. I made my first pie from scratch out of the blackberries we picked. It was yummy!

Island Park

Boat Parade Waiting for the fireworks to start We were watching fireworks over Island Park River, and we decided to start our own. We found a plank of wood and attached it to the fising pole. We would start a firework on it, send it out into the water to watch, and reel it in after for another. Jason, Kristol's brother rope swinging. Happy 4th of July! I love this holiday. I am very thankful for the freedoms we enjoy. Some of the things we enjoyed this 4th of July week were: 1st: New grill. We couldn't go without grilling another year. Sam is our griller. Here he is making yummy kabobs. 2nd: Island Park: Pics to come 3rd: No work for 4 days!
