Daxton through September

I think that in the third month, babies learn so much. Here goes my baby bragging. ;) When he got to the crib, he started sleeping through the nigh, pretty much. He has rolled over a few time from stomach to back, but we've yet to catch it on camera. He loves sitting in his Bumbo. Holds his head up so well. Loves to play with his toes. He like them better when there are no socks on them. But did you notice his adorable cow tail. He loves doing sit-ups. He giggles and smiles a lot! He rolls on his side while sleeping, playing, and bathing. Loves kicking in the tub. And he gets cuter by the day!

Daxton's 1st time swimming

I finally dared take Dax swimming. It went well. He fell asleep after just a few minutes. :) Warming up in the stroller on the way home. He wasn't quite sure about being wrapped in the towel with a soggy diaper on. But all in all, I think he liked it.

My Great-Grandma

Great-grandma Eames past away Sept. 12. She was almost 96. A few weeks before she past away I went to Logan to spend some time with her before she past away. She always lit up when she saw Daxton. She even remembered his name. The funeral went very well, with Richard and Merilee Broadbent singing, Michael Ballum singing, and my mom and Grandma's bishop speaking. Grandma was such a light and example to everyone. She will be missed so much!

Cradle to Crib

I am not really a horrible mom, but I already hate letting Dax grow so fast. Sam had built his crib since well before he was born. But I wouldn't put him in it at nights, partly because I had a hard time letting him out of our room, and partly because the matress was so low to the ground. Sam built an insert and we finally got him out of the cradle and into the crib a couple of weeks ago at 11 weeks old.

Grandpa's 80th and Labor Day at Bear Lake

Waking up and looking at the sunrise at Bear Lake. It is always gorgeous! Kaylor and Cody setting up targets. They had to use targets because they scared off all of the rock chucks that they have been shooting. Sam and Rial shooting. Me and Dax in the pack. I love this pack. (Thanks Ryan!) I don't only go on walk with it, but vacuum, sweep, cook dinner, etc. when Dax won't let me put him down. I love it! The boys playing baseball during the party. It was my Grandpa (Dax's Great-Grandpa) Munk's 80th birthday party on Saturday. My family. Dad holding Austin and Russ holding Savanna. Shanna, Jason, Kylee, Mom holding Dax, me, and Sam. This is during the birthday party at my aunt Darci's cabin at Bear Lake. My dad (Dax's Grandpa Munk) and Dax. Grandpa in his security outfit. They got grandpa a golf cart to go around the farm. The side says "Munk Farms Security" (Family Joke) Grandpa about to go at the pinata. Daxton and Cousin Lexie fast asleep. All cuddl...

Daxton's 2 Month (10 Week) Check-up

Dax had his check-up on Sept. 1. A little over 2 months. He weighed 12 lbs. 6.5oz, and was 23.5 inches tall, or long as they say. He screamed for a second, but did pretty well with the shots. I think the bandaid makes the parent feel better at this age.

And then there were three.

Meet Clara, Daxton, and Bridger, two months old. In case you don't work with me, you may not know who the other two are. Two girls I work with, Mistie and Lynly, both had their babies the same week as I. Right-Bridger was born June 20; Middle-Daxton born June 22; and Clara born June 25. You can only imagine the last few months with three pregnant girls walking around the hospital together doing x-rays, and the comments we got. Special thanks to those we work with who had to put up with 3 pregos at the same time. But looking at this picture, it was all worth it!! BABY THOUGHTS: Daxton (left): She's mine Bridger! Clara (middle): Bridger is so handsome! Bridger (right): I am too young for this!
