Bear Lake Family Reunion

Dad, Sam, and I set off for Swan peak one morning. Sam had been waiting all year to take a good long ride to the top. As you see the trail started geting a little questionable. Dad and I got off and started walking to see how bad it was, because it looked as though we may not be able to turn around, and it was really steep. Sam came flying up behind us saying he'll take a look on his 4-wheeler. I missed the picture of when he and his 4-wheeler went head over heels. In the third picture he and dad are pointing to where he had just rolled it. It took all 3 of us to roll it back without it continuing to roll down the mountain. We turned around there, obviously not making it to swan peak. I'm sure we will be off to find another route next year. We were at Sam's parent's house this weekend and were able to get pictures of these cute baby owls nesting in their haystack. We got up at 6AM to pick wild, thorny blackberries. We picked again later that evening when it wasn't as hot. Sam's dad, Sam, and I were able to pick 12 lbs. of wonderful blackberries that day. I made my first pie from scratch out of the blackberries we picked. It was yummy!
